Welcome!

Welcome to 1st grade! My name is Ms. Bauer and I am thrilled to start my 2nd year at EC West! This year we are going to laugh a lot, learn a lot, and grow a TON! First grade is a huge year for reading, and I am excited to embark on this journey with you!

A few things about me.. I grew up in Indiana, graduated from Purdue and decided I needed to get out of the Midwest! I currently live in Atlanta and I absolutely love it. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy running, hanging out on the Beltline, attending church, and trying new restaurants.

A few things that I love... black coffee, fruit, felt tip pens, sparkling water, dark chocolate, spending time outside, beach trips and hanging out with my boyfriend (he is also a teacher)!
